Weekend highlights
I love long weekends and it’s so rare that I get to actually enjoy a long weekend without feeling ‘obligated’ to go to Ottawa & see my parents and/or work the entire weekend. Well, I still worked but at least I had 2.5 days off!

Random thoughts of the day.
A) I’m a little ashamed that I am such a huge fan of the show Revenge. It’s sooooo good but I worry that it will be hard to keep it interesting after a few seasons. Regardless, loving it so far!
B) Is everybody else counting down the days to the opening of the ‘The Vow’? The trailer itself makes me emotionally unstable so I worry about wailing in the movie theatre....

We caved and got cable. But we had to right? Superbowl? Only once a year? (More for Harrison’s sake than mine) I am happy that I will have TV for the Oscars and the basic selection comes with the Slice network which makes me happy!! (Millionaire Matchmaker is the best!) I’m just a tad sad that it doesn’t include the Food Network. :(

I keep missing award shows this year! Either I forget or I just didn’t have access to a TV at that point in time. Quite disappointing as I’m usually a ‘watch the red carpet and every second of the show’ kind of person.
Anyways, I have set 2 alarms on my phone for the Oscars on Feb 26 so in honour of the longest award show - a link about UP! AKA the best Pixar movie ever.
